A week from tomorrow marks Sam & I's first anniversary as husband & wife. I'd love to say I'm all prepared with gift in hand, but unfortunately I'm not. Sam has proved to be one of the hardest people to shop for mainly because he buys everything he wants/needs before allowing someone else to get it for him.
I know it's very last minute, but I'd love some ideas (either traditional or not) that I could buy/make for him. Thanks in advance!
My hubby loves a special date - plan the whole night or divide the night for each of you to plan certain parts. Make a special dinner and dessert; pick a movie; plan a little romance; you know - something special. That's my thought. Maybe material gifts aren't good, but quality time is always a hit!
ReplyDeleteA friend of mine and her husband do the "traditional" gifts. THe first anniversary gift, according to tradition, is paper. So, she bought him tickets to a Yankees game and he bought her a really nice new journal. It is a nice idea, I think!
