November, already?
Hard to believe, but we are well on our way to the end of the year.
Yesterday was our sister Laura's birthday. The family arrived around 11:30am and we caught up and hung out. Laura opened her presents (one shown above) and we all partook in a few of her birthday cookies (she decided she wanted cookies instead of cake). We had hoped that the weather would hold up for one more day so we could venture to Silver Falls Park and luckily, it did! We made our way out there and had a beautiful walk/hike around several of the falls. There was even some prime opportunities for family pictures.
After we had enough walking, we drove back and cooked pizza and played games. Matt, Josh, & Laura all went home, but Donna & Phil stayed the night and went to church this morning. It was nice to show them where we've been attending since we've been living in Salem. They also got to see Kristi play the piano for worship and it was great!
