Fall means...

PUMPKIN!

Another low-key weekend had me in the kitchen experimenting with a few recipes involving one of my favorite Fall foods.

On the left, the basic, but classic Pumpkin Pie. And on the right, a new-to-me recipe, Pumpkin Bread. {Both found in my favorite pink cookbook}

I'm already anticipating the next recipe involving this beautiful fruit and I think it might come from this post that I starred this week in Google Reader.

Happy Monday!

Love: Fiesta Dinnerware Christmas Tree Collection

{via}

I'm a big fan of Fiestaware! And it may be a little early to start talking about the holidays, but I honestly can't stop thinking of Macy's Fiesta Dinnerware Christmas Tree Collection that was just released last week! Now if only we had the room to host Christmas dinner at our house...

Love: Hot Spot Pie Accessories

{via}

Did you know I enjoy baking? Because I do! Although baking can be a challenge sometimes, that's what I like most about it. Give me a {sweet} recipe and I can't wait to see what comes out of the oven. That's why I think Anthropologie's Hot Spot Pie Accessories would fit in perfectly in my kitchen. Just think of all the cookies I can roll out with that stylish rolling pin. And pulling a pie out of the oven in this beautiful dish would definitely be worth all the time & effort. Oh the possibilities!

Because it's Monday...

And our weekend didn't involve any noteworthy highlights, I thought I'd share a new-to-me show I was recently introduced to.

{via}

Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip reveals a behind the scenes look at a fictional late-night sketch comedy show {similar to 30 Rock} . With a 2006 premier on NBC, the series ended after only one season, which I think is a real shame! So if you've missed this series and you want to check it out for yourselves, head over to Netflix now and watch the whole season instantly!

Love: Fashion Harvest Skirt

I first spotted ModCloth's Fashion Harvest Skirt a couple weeks ago and I haven't been able to get it out of my head since. The colors, the silhouette, the pattern - I love it all! Wouldn't this just be the perfect skirt for the Fall?

Field Trip: Ramona Falls, OR

This holiday weekend brought us up to Mt. Hood with Sam's parents. They had been up there before, but not for several years. And we're always up for a good adventure, so off we went!

We took Lily with us because we knew she'd keep us on pace & love the smells of the forest. Surprisingly she was still ready for more even after the 7+ mile loop.

The log bridges were some of my favorite parts of the hike. Simple & functional!

There were plenty of sights to see & things to explore and Sam wasn't afraid of anything!

About half way into the loop, we reached the falls. We re-hydrated & fueled up and made sure we took a few "tourist" pictures to document the hike.

I'm really happy to have seen Ramona Falls, but enjoyed the conversation and experience I shared with Sam & his parents. I'd love to go back and do it again... after my legs get some rest of course!

Love: Apple

Please let it be known: we are an Apple family.

With an iMac, two iPhones, 3 iPods (classic, nano, & shuffle), and a router, it's pretty clear we're fans of the company.

And our next purchase?

This little guy.

He provides instant movie & TV rentals from iTunes and now streams directly from Netflix. Plus, he's cute! We're pretty excited to add him to our reasons of loving Apple! :)
