So, I have some BIG news...

SAM AND I BOUGHT A HOUSE!!!
Yup, we did it! Seriously!
We are proud homeowners of the south Salem beauty pictured below...
It all started almost 6 months ago when we began weighing our options of where we would like to start our lives after we get married -- Bend, Portland, or Salem. After months of looking at houses, searching for jobs, and hopes going up and down, we finally decided that Salem was the best fit for us at this point in our lives.

And we lucked out when we found this house... it might have been on the higher end of our budget, but it's everything and more than we ever hoped for! The papers have been signed and the keys are going to be in Sam's hands tomorrow and all that means that I will have one happy fiance! (sidenote: Sam has been driving 2.5 hours a day commuting to and from work for at least a year and a half and now he has a home just 20 minutes away from work that he can go to, yay!)

As for me, I'll be staying in Bend for another 3.5 months while I plan for our wedding and get all those final details together. Sam and I are both hoping for the next few months to just fly by because we are beyond ready to be married!

If you are ever in Salem, let us know. We'd love to have you over! =)

WHAT DO YOU THINK?

I just thought it was about time to spruce up the blog a little and add a little more attitude to it =)

And I love it!

My title is new too in honor of the 4 month mark that Sam and I are hitting tomorrow -- 4 months until we are Mr. & Mrs. Woo!

There isn't much to more to report... yet. I guess you'll have to check back in a while and see if there is anything worth reading.

I miss my girls...

Hi Sam, I love you!

CONGRATULATIONS PHIL, ON YOUR NEW JOB!!!

Hi everyone!
I know I've been lacking on posting, but in reality, my life isn't as happening as some might think. Most days (every weekday...), all I do is wake up, go to work, come home, and go to bed. I know, not thrilling. But I have had some fun on the weekends...

My puppy, Buster, keeps me busier than I thought. He's quite a handful, but melts my heart daily! He's a pug, but a unique one because he's not as chubby and his face isn't as smooshed (which is a big plus for appearance and health reasons). Below is a picture that I took of the two of us and it proudly displays his constant look and I LOVE it!

Meet my big-eyed buddy!

In addition, I've gotten the chance to see Sam a few weekends in the last month, which has been great. As the wedding draws closer, the two of us become busier and the weekends fill up quickly, but it's nice to know that we can come together and just enjoy each other's company to the fullest. I love this guy and I can't wait to marry him in less than 5 months!

This particular weekend we had our engagement shots done and they turned out PERFECT! I couldn't have asked for a better photographer and the pictures say it all! To see a few of the pictures, follow this link!

I know there will be more news in the upcoming months. Stay tuned!
