Happy New Year!
We rang in the New Year in Eugene, Oregon at my best friend Kelly's beautiful farm. Her mom has spent the last 2+ years building her dream home and there is finally an end in site. It truly an amazing home and we enjoyed every part of it.

The party began some time around 9pm and was still going when we left at 1am. There were drinks, food and an awesome chocolate fountain. Plus a cool sound system and some karaoke. All the makings for a perfect New Years Eve.

My main motive for making the drive down was for these 3 women.
My girls...all together...in one room...for a few hours.
All I needed to ring in the New Year!

Here is Kelly getting the karaoke started with what else, but "It's My Party" - great job Kel!

Lastly, my dates for the night - husband, Sam, and brother-in-law, Matt.

Matt had a box of fireworks at his apartment that he brought to the party and they were a hit! The farm was a perfect place to set them off because there were wide open spaces and clear skies.

Sam and I took Matt home around 1am and then made the drive back to Salem. It was definitely one of the harder drives (due to the time of night/tired from a long day at work)
, but we made it home around 2:30am and hit the hay right away.

Today, we've spent our New Years Day cleaning out our office. Dinner tonight is Homemade Baked Potato Soup and Fresh Sourdough Bread - can't wait!

Hope you all had a safe and happy New Years! Here's to 2009!

P.S. Happy 100th Post to Me!
